A historic resort, a huge ski area
Montgenèvre is one of the very first ski resorts in France. Perched on its pass at 1,860 m, it enjoys renowned snow cover and a ski area that opens onto Italy.
With the Via Lattea pass you cross the border on skis: Claviere, Cesana, Sansicario, Sestriere and Sauze d'Oulx form, with Montgenèvre, more than 400 km of slopes.

Cross-country and snowshoeing
Montgenèvre's Nordic trails and the nearby Clarée valley are perfect for cross-country skiing and snowshoe walks through the larch forests.
